Having just read the transcript from Craig's interview on 'Enough Rope' and the comments left regarding it, I just wanted to say that I think the interview showed just what a fantastic and genuine bloke he really is. I met Craig almost 10 years ago now and, despite just being a teenage kid as well as a mad fan at the time, he was so lovely and gave freely of his time on several occasions to have a good chat. Well you don't forget kindness like that, so here is my little note of support. I don't 'know' Craig and I'm not going to argue that he's the most 'perfect' bloke that ever existed, but I think you can't help but admire his strength of character. Despite the recent flack he has been getting, he's had the courage to pick himself up and face it head on and I really do admire him for this. I'm sure you'd all agree with me? So Craig - if you're reading this - nice work, good luck with the future and with your son, and I don't need to tell you to keep smiling |

Well said Laura. I've met Craig a couple of times, and he really is the most genuine guy you could meet and will give up time for anyone.
If anybody wants to read the full transcript it available from ABC website at ;
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/enoughrope/transcripts/s1348390.htm
We're in talks with ABC to try and get a copy of the interview to put on the site. |

Talk about strength of character! How do you go and do morning radio after the flak he copped from "the Footy Show' incident.
Anyone else would of curled-up and disapeared from the spotlight. Im sure he wanted to. Just type in Craig McLachlan in google and you will find nothing but morons commenting on that footy show. It only proves how many people have so little else to do! But anyway I though he was funny. I laughed. And thats the last time im mentioning that show.
He seems to steer away from the easy things and jump headfirst into challenges. (another ie : playing Stuart Diver)
And thats the Craig we love. The loveable larakin.
Behind you all the way!! _________________ AKA : Michael |
